Ben's first case finds him in the Florida Everglades, looking for something known as "The Skunk-Ape" which is said to be a local variation on Bigfoot. The Skunk-Ape got its name because of its horrible smell, described as a mixture of moldy cheese, rotten eggs, and dung.
Several park rangers have been murdered, and so Ben is called in to investigate the possibility that the Skunk-Ape is involved. Help him survive long enough to solve his first case!
The Deluxe Edition features improved graphics, extended storyline, and full voice acting and lip-synch.

Beneath a Steel Sky
This is one of the best freeware adventure games out there. I really enjoyed playing this game, it has a good story that will keep you wondering what is coming next. After the Dungeons and Dragons fantasy setting of Revolution?s first game, Lure of the Temptress, Revolution decided to go down a completely different avenue with its second adventure game, Beneath a Steel Sky, that of Science Fiction. A bleak vision of the future was imagined, where mind control and medical science combined forces to repress the populace. Leading comic artist, Dave Gibbons, joined the design team to visualise this desperate landscape. The result, released in 1994, was the cult classic Beneath a Steel Sky.

The land was left barren, with survivors scattered across the land; all hope seemed lost. Amidst the devastation, seven great masters rose up, wielding the ancient abilities of the Force Power. Their teachings shielded the survivors from the CABAL and allowed them to rebuild. Centuries later, man had all but forgotten their oppressive beginnings and the teachings of the seven masters. For the next thousand years, people have lived in peace, but Cabal is conspiring a new evil again to cleanse the land once more. It is breeding a child to be the new king of the people, and so once again devastation may ensue. This is where the hero (players) have to face the invaders of Nevareth and uncover the conspiracy behind it and defeat it before it's too late.

In the past couple of years, Corum Online has been one of the top-ranked games in the Japanese and Korean Markets. The game has a flurry of quests and a very unique PvP system which consists of battles for the control of certain dungeons that can be controlled by guilds. The game also provides potential for lots of customization for the players. The PvP system is very unique for Corum Online and it is based on gaining and maintaining the possession of certain dungeons that are scattered throughout the world of Corum. Each of these types of "siege dungeons" provide the owner with either beneficial items or materials that can be used to create unique items. Corum Online also has thousands of items that a player can get in order to improve their characters skills, attributes, or their looks. Players can also learn the skills of a different class.

Cubert
In the present day, or at least what science-fiction writers fifty years ago would have imagined the present day to be like, is an island floating in space somewhat near Earth. On this island live long-faced, bug-eyed, tentacled aliens called Ekrats. In addition to being filled with these locals, the aptly named Ekrat IslandTM is a popular spot for human tourists to visit. Every day, hordes of humans arrive on the island in little spaceships to enjoy many facilities including but not limited to the Horniverous DevilTM restaurant, Baked Potato's Bar and DiscoTM, and the new attraction specially built for humans themselves, the HumanCoasterTM.
Until, of course, all the humans start to disappear. And the ships transporting them to and from the island are no longer in service. This is bad for the Ekrats; humans, being wealthy tourists, help the Ekrat economy greatly.
And so, one day, there is only one human left. In an attempt to find her companions, she enlists the aid of Ekrat IslandTM's only (yet somewhat reluctant) private investigator, Cubert Badbone. In this cheesy, low-budget game, you play the part of that private investigator. Now what are you waiting for? Go find those humans!

Darkages
Dark Ages II: Engel is a free computer role-playing game that follows the story of those three initiates of the Thieves' Guild. The plot is non-linear in the sense that key points in the plot will require a choice. That choice will lead to different quests without turning back. The world will change according to those choices. I hope to add replayability (is that a word?) by allowing the player to start the game over after they've won and play a whole series of new quests and still win the game. How it differs from most non-linear games is that it does not change how the game ends; merely all the content in the middle. A lot of games change the storyline to fit non-linear choices, but the quests and tasks are the same. In the case of DA2, some quests will never become available. You will just have to play again to try them out.

Fa?ade is an artificial intelligence-based art/research experiment in electronic narrative ? an attempt to move beyond traditional branching or hyper-linked narrative to create a fully-realized, one-act interactive drama. Integrating an interdisciplinary set of artistic practices and artificial intelligence technologies, we have completed a five year collaboration to engineer a novel architecture for supporting emotional, interactive character behavior and drama-managed plot. Within this architecture we have built a dramatically interesting, real-time 3D virtual world inhabited by computer-controlled characters, in which the player experiences a story from a first-person perspective. Fa?ade was publicly released as a freeware download / cd-rom in July 2005.
You, the player, using your own name and gender, play the character of a longtime friend of Grace and Trip, an attractive and materially successful couple in their early thirties. During an evening get-together at their apartment that quickly turns ugly, you become entangled in the high-conflict dissolution of Grace and Trip?s marriage. No one is safe as the accusations fly, sides are taken and irreversible decisions are forced to be made. By the end of this intense one-act play you will have changed the course of Grace and Trip?s lives ? motivating you to re-play the drama to find out how your interaction could make things turn out differently the next time.

Heroine Iysayana
In some multiverse there is a disk-like world called Byteria. It is home to many different people and bizarre creatures. Our story takes place in S?ramir, a large continent where many different creatures use to live and give each other good thrashings. According to elvish chronology, it's the year 9992 Lyr. Somewhere near the northeastern shore lies a town called Ashford, capital of a small kingdom of the same name.
Our title character is Iysayana, the only elf in Ashford. For her, life is nothing but a great party. She really doesn't think about anything else than bashes, boys and booze - until now. The goddess Yw'nafob forces Iysayana to become a heroine and save Ashford from the evil Lord Shadmyr. The problem with it: First she must find out why Shadmyr is evil at all. And the other problem: Iysayana's companion is just her boring ex-husband Odilbert...

Heroine Iysayana is a Japanese-style role-playing game. Most of the time the game will be played in a 2-D perspective. This is where you walk around and explore the land, talk to people, visit shops, explore dungeons, search for treasures and so on. Whenever the party runs into monsters the game will change to a special turn-based combat screen. If you defeat your foes, your heroes will gain experience and money. At first Iysayana is on her own, but during the adventure other heroes will join your party. The different characters have different abilities, e. g. one may be a healer and another one a warrior, so make best use of them.
When characters have gained enough combat experience they will grow stronger and learn new magic. You can use spells to attack monsters, but also to heal or strengthen your characters. But note that your magic energy is limited and must be refilled from time to time. Talk to the people in the towns to gather more or less useful information. Take a rest in an inn to restore your characters' health. There are stores where you can buy and sell weapons and armors. Other items can be used to heal the heroes in mid-combat.
The game can be played using the keyboard or a joystick and comes with a detailed help file. You can save and load at any point. Go out and become the heroine the kingdom needs!
Heroine Iysayana is a trilogy: The first two parts of the game are already available and ready for play, and the grand finale will follow within the next months. Windows 98 or higher is required.
